If you were not here on Friday complete assignment 1:

• 1. Open Google Chrome

  2. Type http://scratch.mit.edu/ into the top of the page.

  3. Click “Join Scratch” and follow the instructions to create an account. Choose a username and password that is the same as your cps account.

  4. Click “Create” in the upper left.

  5. Change the title in the top left from “Untitled” to your name (First name and Last name 1)

  6. Click on “Events” at the top center of the screen and drag the puzzle piece that says:

 “When is clicked” to the right.

• 1. Click on “Looks” and drag the “say hello” puzzle piece and drag it to the right.

  2. Make sure the two puzzle pieces connect.

  3. Click the green flag to make sure your sprite says “hello.”

  4. Click “File” Then Click “download to your computer.”

Show it to a helper when you are done.
