Behold, a wild story has appeared! This latest installment is a combination of a dream I had and a continuing curiosity over what would happen if Dr. Loveless tried to team up with Tycho from The Night of the Winged Terror.
As part of their plan (which will involve Dr. Loveless trying to claim California in modern times), Dr. Loveless abducts Coley, Ray, Lafe, and takes Jane by accident, in his efforts to draw Jim into his latest trap. While the hostages try to cope with their situation and start a mutiny among the pirates Dr. Loveless has recruited, Jim and Arte try to rescue them, and Snakes and possibly the Posey gang try to rescue all of them. Snakes is concerned for them, and the Posey gang doesn't want California to fall into the hands of Dr. Loveless and Tycho. The police and the Air Force, and maybe some of the Perry Mason characters, are involved as well.
I'm very excited about this story, particularly an airship being the central location. It feels very steampunk, even though it is in modern times. Knowing Dr. Loveless, the airship he has "improved" on will be very steampunk indeed.
