Jim is one of the two Secret Service agents headlining our beloved Wild Wild West.

Following an explosion and capture by Dr. Faustina, Jim becomes witness to the revival of the Posey gang. He is held hostage while Arte believes he is dead, something that Jim hates but tries to deal with since Arte's life is threatened by Pinto if Jim tries to escape. While captive, Jim tries to turn the gang members against Dr. Faustina, who has promised to help them find Lucrece. He eventually does have some level of success with this endeavor.

It's right after reuniting with Arte that all of them are sent to the present. Jim quickly adapts to the situation, as Jim does, and is curious and interested in the new time, and gently amused by Arte's utter excitement and enthusiasm over modern technology.

One modern thing Jim is not quite able to grasp is animated shows. He is baffled by Spongebob Squarepants and The Simpsons, but finds My Little Pony mildly interesting, mainly because of his love of horses.

Throughout their wild adventures, Jim and Arte end up teaming with several who have been their enemies in the past. Although Jim keeps his distance more than Arte does, he considers Coley Rodman a friend now.
