PSP ONE
I recently broke my psp's screen by falling asleep on top of it like a moron...
So i found out to fix all my psp's problems would cost way too much "i might aswell buy a new one" i decided to mod my broken psp and acer aspire one into a hybrid netbook psp combo... Using blood and sweat "and dropping a big knive on my toe" i set off to make a psp.
"finger is fake"I clocked the Psp cpu from 266 to 333mhz and hooked it up using a usb cable, i cut a usbcable and connected a power connector for the 5V supply.
I Faked PS3 remote play signals and got the psp to use it's hardware encoder to send video at 480 x 272 with no lag at 30 FPS!
I connected a Usb gamepad and sent a combined signal back to the psp, making psp read input from it.
I added a sound cable connected to the netbook audio line in for sound.
There you go! Using USB host i backed up all my games to the netbook.
It runs all my psp games and homebrew.
Not very portable but still does 8 hours before the battery runs out.
The improved 11" screen size fits well and is vibrant and detailed @ 30 fps. ^_^
