Rink Rats (2012-15)

An expansion club in 2012-13, the Rats etched their spot in the VMA as a club that loathed playing during Sunday Night Football. Each of their three seasons saw tweaking to the ever revolving roster. Their peak came in the Rats 2nd year going all the way to the Semi-Finals, only to fall in a goalie duel to the Whalers, 2-1. That playoff game shall live in infamy as a VMA classic. For 2014-15 the club lost many on their roster to free agency and the club was never the same. After starting 4-0-0, the Rats would lose 14 of their final 16gms. It was enough for the front office to disband the franchise.
