Next Sunday Class: 5 Dec 2010

Vivekananda Adhyayana Kendra Sunday Classes 1st Batch was formally inaugurated on the auspicious day of Vijayadasami, 18 Oct 2010 by the Principal of Bharatiya Vignan Bhavan High School. The participants were extended the facility of free distribution of books. The titles were: "Swami Vivekananda: Call to the Nation" and "Personality Development". The inaugural function was held at 5.00 P.M. and the initial interactions were held immediately after that. The participants expressed that 3.00 P.M.-5.00 P.M. will be convenient to them. Hence, the timing for the Sunday Classes was changed to be so. The conception of the idea for the Kendra Sunday Classes is result of the blessings and allowance of Swami Shitikantananda Maharaj, Ramakrishna Math.

    • The youth will be trained in English Skills, Personality Development, Yoga and Meditation, and to imbibe the clarion call and inspiring message of Swami Vivekananda to the nation and youth. The all round development of a youth includes excellence in education, inculcation of national, human and moral values.

A library with a few books to start with is available. Books will pertain to Great Personalities, their literature, Works of Swami Vivekananda, Indian Philosophy, Indian History, Indian Heritage, World History and World Heritage and all such issues that are relevant to youth development.

Some Soft Skills/ English Mentors from reputed institutes such as JNTU will take guest lectures.
