Rationale:
This lesson plan was a great experience. It taught me how to plan for instruction. While working on the unit plan I was able to understand how students learn and how to plan for differentiated instruction. I was able to incorporate activities that can be differentiated in multiple learning styles. I learned how to teach a lesson and give students the resources they need to master and reinforce reading comprehension and writing skills. After this unit, students will read and identify the main ideas and details in a story. This unit will allow students to become better readers and writers by comprehending what he or she has read.
