Diagnostic Tools

Dr. G. C. Willis could diagnose most of his patients using only these unsophisticated pieces of equipment.

All of his diagnostic tools can be packed into a small bag shown in the upper left of this picture.

A storage bag, an ophthalmoscope set, otoscope and nasoscope [Welch Allyn], a stethoscope [Harvey triple head], a Queen Square reflex hammer, a divider, a tuning fork, a penlight, plastic buttons of various colours and sizes, a depth sense tester [carved wooden block], a hat pin, a measuring tape, a tuberculin syringe, and a sphygmomanometer.
