The Season begins

We have been absolutely inundated with rental inquiries in the past few weeks. It seems as if everyone in the northern latitudes is beginning to think about warmer places to travel to as winter descends. If you want a spot at La Fiaca, I'd suggest that you check out the calendar and let us know some dates that work for you. We'll be happy to reserve you a spot.

The weather is absolutely sublime from December through April or May. In June, the green season begins on the Pacific side, and the rains increase, but it is really just as warm - still in the low 80's. This lasts through November. It's still just as lovely and warm, and there are plenty of breaks in the rain. Many times, the days are sunny and the rains come at night. There is also an increasingly popular period between mid-July to mid-August, which is called the "little summer", when it usually does not rain. Increasingly, many visitors are discovering the benefits of visiting Costa Rica during the green season...

Also, keep in mind that the seasons are different between the Pacific side and the Caribbean side. Odd to think that this is the case in such a small country, but it's true! September and October, which are wet on the Pacific side, are the Caribbean sides' driest months.
