With about 3 months to go the excitement, anxiety and "would this just happen!" has started to build, with a week to go I'll be a total pain to all those around me.
Training has suffered a setback since I damaged my knee around the patella tendon. With a bit of physio and rest, I'm starting to build up again after a few quiet weeks. I had been hoping to be blasting lots of exercises that need this tendon to be in tip-top shape such as squats, lunges, jumps (high and long) and at least running/riding still. But there are ways around this such as calf raises, GMB R1 program, boxing for awesome cardio, superset speed things like nickels and dimes which are for 10 minutes, each minute do 10 push-ups and 5 pull-ups (or some variation). I wanted to get back into some kayaking since its a good cardio and along with swimming which would have been excellent but not everything is possible.
