In Kyu Jang is a MD/PhD Candidate in the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Department of Neuroscience. He received his BS and MS in Neuroscience at Johns Hopkins University in 2022 and 2023 respectively, with a focus on healthy/diseased neural circuitry and computational motor control.
Ultimately, In Kyu aims to integrate his medical and graduate training to devise brain-computer/machine interfaces. His current research interests in the lab include designing a computational model of the inner ear that captures the effect of varying electrical stimulation, and experimentally investigating utricular and saccular stimulation in chinchillas. He is also involved in the human clinical trial.
