Farewell Venice!

After 7 weeks of hard work and collaboration, our project has finally come to a close. Our completed official report and summary of our work can be found at the Final Report tab at the top of this page. In addition to compiling a final report and presentation, we were able to create many incredible web based tools and applications that make our findings and data available to anyone online. The de'Barbari explorer, evolution of a city, and Hidden Venice apps are all linked from our deliverables page above. These apps creatively display our database of maps, venipedia pages, and GIS mapfiles. As a group, we learned more than we ever expected about the city of Venice and we feel that we made a valuable contribution to the geomorphological records of its development. We hope that future IQP students can take our work and further complete the endeavors we began. Until next time, Ciao!
