We've been hard at work improving our de'Barbari map viewer (found here) with new features. Our biggest additions are the creation of a search bar, and toggle-able overlay layers. Soon, you'll be able to search for any church in the map, and see how it looked in the year 1500 when the map was made.
Eventually, it may be possible for people to create there own overlay layers, essentially allowing the information on our site to be crowd-sourced.
We're sure that this tool will become a valuable tool for anyone interested in Venetian history.
