Hard Start Relay Install Photos

The large nut on the top of the starter solenoid is Terminal #30.  The large ring connector will be installed under this nut.  The red wire with the white connector on the right side of the starter solenoid is Terminal #50.  This connector is pulled off the starter solenoid and will be installed onto the male connector on the relay harness.

This is the connector that is removed from Terminal #50 on the starter solenoid.  Sometimes this connector has a small locking tab on it.  If one is present, snap it off with a pair of pliers or wire snips.

Mounting detail of the star washer behind the relay bracket.  This washer will help to provide a good ground point by piercing the paint and locking the relay in place.  Be sure to clean the mounting area before installation for best results.  A small amount of dielectric grease can be added to the mounting area to help to avoid oxidation or rust.
