PERMANENT MAKEUP-Pre-procedure
Pre-Procedure Information
My goal is to make you feel beautiful! It is important that you are understanding the pre-procedure before I perform the permanent makeup to ensure better outcome and understanding the necessary steps to prevent complications. Please read the following:
• Feel free to arrive with makeup that you normally wear or your favorite lip color, liner, brows shapes…pictures will be helpful.
• Your permanent makeup will appear much darker, the lines much “thicker”, and overall a bit more dramatic for the first 1-7 days following your procedure. After the scab falls off your makeup will look much lighter than a desire shade but be patient. It will gradually get darker. This is totally normal. Don’t freak out, the color will be consistent in 4 weeks.
* Color might fade and slightly different than your desire shade depending on your undertone and body chemistry. Sometimes it might take multiple services to achieve the best result.
• Please plan your procedure to ensure enough time to heal and feel comfortable with your appearance. Usually around 1-2 days is adequate for all procedures. In order to prevent an infection, you should not wear mascara for 7 days if you are having your eyeliner done. If you absolutely must wear it, please buy a brand new tube (to prevent unwanted infection). Do not wear contact lenses during or immediately following your procedure. Remember to bring your glasses! You may resume wearing your contact lenses as soon as your eyes return to their pretreated condition. Do not use growth stimulants such as Latisse, RapidLash, or RevitaLash for at least one week prior to and one week after your eyeliner procedure.
* Pregnancy: There is not enough information or data in permanent makeup to ensure your safety during pregnancy. Please advice your doctor before permanent makeup procedure.
LIPS CLIENTS:
Performing lip tattoo will trigger fever blister or cold sores, if you previously had it please call your doctor or dentist to get a prescription medication for it (anti-viral) and take it a few days prior to the procedure. Over the counter medications might work depending on how severe your case might be.
EYELINER CLIENTS:
If you are an insulin dependant diabetic, or have glaucoma and use prescription eye drops for this condition, or have any other serious medical condition that you are being treated for, you must inform me in advance of this condition. It may be fine to proceed with your appointment but sometimes I may require a release from your treating physician.
EYEBROW CLIENTS
*If you are using any skin lightening, Retinoid, bleaching, chemical peel. Please discontinue these products for 7-10 days prior to your procedure.
*If you are having your eyebrows done please do not tint or wax them within 48 hours of your appointment. If you have a tendency to swell and are having your lips or eyeliner done, you may take over-the-counter a pain medicine 1-2 hours before your appointment to ease your pain and comfort.
