March 3rd Meeting
Our March program will feature Lisa Cox, a Portland, Oregon-based fiber artist who brings her ideas to life using a blend of crochet, weaving, and felting, often combining these techniques in a single piece.

Our February program will feature Celeste Chalasani, Needle Artist, Designer & Teacher. Celeste is a graduate of the National Academy of Needlearts (NAN) Teachers’ Certification Program specializing in Stumpwork.

Jan 6th Meeting
Our January speaker will be Hollis Chatelain. She wil be talking about the relationship between drawing and quilting.
Hollis Chatelain is an internationally renowned and award-winning artist. Through a dynamic and characteristic style marked by dreamlike imagery, elaborate use of color, and intricate thread detail, Hollis creates unique compositions that address challenging social, environmental, and political themes. She specialises in textile painting and reflects 12 years of experience living in West Africa and working with humanitarian organisations.

August 5th Meeting
Our August Speaker will be Helen Knott, fabric and fiber artist, quilt teacher, and pattern designer.
Helene will be presenting Transcending the Vision: “Quilt inspirations come to me like visions. Often, they spring to life fully formed, like Venus on the half-shell, and then the chase starts. Pursuing the idea is frequently ephemeral and elusive. Drawings must be made, fabric collected, techniques considered, and the final assembly when everything comes together into a successful quilt – or not.
Her background is in art, primarily drawing and painting.
July 1st Meeting
Our July speaker will be Casey Newman, botanical print and natural dye artist.
