I am Associate Professor at Utrecht University School of Economics and Research Associate at the ZEW – Leibniz Centre for European Economic Research in Mannheim, Germany. My research focuses on the consequences of digitalization and globalization for the dynamics of individual labor market careers and for the economic performance of regional labor markets. Moreover, I investigate the effects of agglomeration of economic activities on the disparities between regional labour markets.
