I am a researcher at the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW) Mannheim. I am primarily based in the department Labour Markets and Social Insurance, though I work cross-functionally with the department Market Design.
I am also a PhD candidate at Utrecht University School of Economics, under the supervision of Anna Salomons, Ulrich Zierahn-Weilage, and Elena Fumagalli.
I am an applied microeconomist with a focus on labor economics, in particular the drivers of technological change, skill formation and skill composition, and the consequences therein for regional growth and inequality.
I am interested in the application of novel or otherwise interesting methods to recover causal effects, to include assignment mechanism exploitation, machine learning, among others.
