Guoen will give a talk entitled “Potential constraints from the Swampland Distance Conjecture”, with the following abstract:

Abstract: The Swampland Distance Conjecture (SDC) should be valid for all effective field theories in the Landscape with scalar potentials. We show that, the bound of the exponential rate in the SDC gives an asymptotic constraint on the gradient of the scalar potentials. We give this potential constraint for moduli space which is a hyperbolic halfplane, then show that the superpotential also has a constraint. We further generalize this constraint to moduli spaces which are products of hyperbolic halfplanes asymptotically.
