I checked onboard New Year's Eve (31DEC79) and remained onboard through the Decommissioning. I was the Repair Office Yeoman. Though I don't remember names very well, I enjoyed my time and shipmates while stationed in La Maddelana. Though there was little to do except maybe "walk the square" and drink at the 3-4-5 Club, I had a fun time.
I got smart (or dumb) depending on how you look at it, got my degree and retired as a LCDR-Surface Warfare (doing tours as a MPA and CHENG).
Only two types of Sailors....Engineers and Passengers! But glad to be shipmates to all!

Wow, talk about heart broken. We have asked for help from our shipmates to save GILMORE and all to no avail. Literally for years, we appraised and sought support and were roundly ignored. The sad thing? We won't even have coordinates of a sink-ex to point to. The clock is ticking loudly for GILMORE.
Comes March 06 we're done for. What a shame.

My heart is broken. We had a real shot at this and yet no one cared at all. What a shame. I guess I'm not old enough yet to be contented with memories. I wanted to feel her deck ring under my feet as I walked her again. To see the place where good men did good work for a great cause. I was hoping to show my Sailor sons that the Navy is not all CVN's or SSBN's but hard working Ships and Commands Like the GILMORE.
I'm done. Thanks for nothing, 'shipmates'

Ward Brewer just called me and he will have to let the Gilmore STAY in the fleet. When he needed to call for all veterans to call their Congress and Senators, there was not one person to call him to let him know that they were there to help. Since the Gilmore has sprung second leak, first one on Oct and we were not told till just this past week, MARAD moved the scrapping of the Gilmore up to March. The Gilmore was to be the center piece next to the Orion, with birthing spaces, torpedo handling and having the Growler along side. NOT ANYMORE.With no help from the veterans, he can not and will fight for a ship that no one wants to help with.
Please feel free to call Ward and express your thoughts on this. Contact the web page at btcorp.us/mt and visit to see what was going to be a GRAND DAY for this ship.
Ward Brewer
1-850-450-2290
Since the ball has been dropped on the veterans part, the only thing we can save will be our memories and photos. I was looking forward to having my family come on board when she was re-commissioned, to see where I lived and worked during my Navy days.
Thanks Dan

I went aboard the Gilmore in July of 56 right out of En.A school. I worked in the aft. eng. room for about a year and was transferred to the boat shop. After a few months I was transferred to the Subron 4 torpedo retrievor USS Growler until the Gilmore was moved to Charlston in 59. The Growler was left in Key West. Once in Charlston I was transferred back to the boatshop. We were in the yards in Hoboken & Norfolk while on board. WE cruised the Caribean at least four times to the Virgin Islands, Cuba, Porto Rico and Jamaca. Two of these cruises were shakedown cruises after leaving the yards. I was proud to serve on the Gilmore. It was a great experience and I have a lot of fond memories. My oldest daughter was born in Boca Chica Naval Station Hospital. She now lives in Florida and visits Key West often.

I was stationed on the USS Bushnell in Key West and it was decommissioned. After that the USS Gilmore came from Charleson, SC to Key Westto replace the Bushnell. I was a SF3 (HT3) and was statined on the Gilmore 1970-1971. I had a great time in Key West and still tell many stories to my friends and family. One of the highlights was going to New Orleans for Mardis Gras every year ... what a great time.

OK SHIPMATES,
Over the past few years we have asked for your support in trying to get the GILMORE out of the Reserve Fleet and into the hands of the Beauchamp Tower Corp. It seems like everyone here had assumed that this was too good to be true. It seemed like the GILMORE vets didn't want to get their hopes up. Well shipmates, it is NOW time to fish or cut bait. We need to get in touch with Sen McCain and let him know that we want our ship to go to Beauchamp Tower Corp. Yes, GILMORE is pretty rough, yes Beachamp Tower is going to refurbish her appearance. But to walk her decks to be in 'our spaces' once again is something that many sailors will never get to do. But we CAN. Get on the phone, send a letter, send and email but do something. Think of how the Vets of the BUSHNELL feel, when all they can give of their ship is co-ordinates where she was sunk? Shipmates it's time for one more Muster!

What a great time I had serving on the Gilmore and living on lamadd the great food, wine and friends are some of my best memories of the late 70s. I was almost always in trouble of soome kind but what teenager wasn't I cooked in the main galley then the ward room then the bake shop and midrats. I killed more roaches on that ship than I will ever see again in a life time but I never let them get in the food (for long) I used to love fishing for calamari down by the marina in front of the flat house and buying wine at the bring your own bottle place by the gas station for around $0.50 for a 2L bottle or buying all those casette tapes both at the ships store and the little shop on via garibaldi. I sware I'll get back there some day and I will dive off those rocks again at the big flat rock east of town. I wonder if you can buy a bag of ice there yet sure would have made the beer teast better on those hot days. I wish I could remember more about that huge storm we hit probably on our way to spain I was one of the few that was up and walking around checking out the bridge and the stress joints at mid ship. although the chaplin was saying prayers on the 1mc all night I knew the old gire would hold together. I just love riding the big water and would like to do it again. I too have run into some good old friends on this site and will be sending a donation to Eldon for running it. Still waiting to hear from some of the 78-80 crew I bet Lee Maddy is still there.
Thanks Tim

Old thoughts seem to run like a flood into my mind. I was in the HT/DC Shop 1978-1979. I remember alot of the boys! We had great times in Palma! And on DC Centeral watch. Anyone remember the rich TM3 who was busted by the FBI for wanting to kill his X-girl friend and stealing the blue prints for a Mark 48 Torp.? Or fighting the grass fire in La Maddalena? Fight the fire on the Greek ship? Just little memories! I have a photo of the HT/DC shop crew dated around 1979 and tons of life on the ship. I miss "The Rock" and the USS Gilmore. I served onboard from Sept '78-November '79. Chief Louden I remember you well, you were stern, but like a father to all of us teenagers. I also remember "T.Armstrong,Waddie Salmon, Vinnie Castro, Donald Harper, Stajocovich, the beerhall, Barcelona(Yeah, Baby),Toulon,Dubrovnik,Rota,And I especially remember all of the weekend trips on my Garrelli motorcycle,The food in la-madd at the "Seven Dwarfs Restaurant" and all of the Drinking, snorkeling, and summers camping out on "Horseshoe Beach" behind "Vics German Bar in Palau.(My God there were some beautiful European Tourist backpacking beauties). And the most heart breaking memory was Mr.Kliendinst and the fantail incident in which Chief Louden was injured in also. If there was ever a finer Naval officer than our "X.O." I never ran accross him in my 25 years of service. Chief Louden, "T", Castro, Duck, Waddie and all of the fella's that I know and served with, and all of the "AS-16" vets (and all Vets) You are all my brothers, I think of you often, there is a deep love in my heart for all of you and I am proud to have served with the best friends a brother could ask for. If I die today, I will take with me some of the most cherished memories a person could wish for, and I am a better man because all of you were my friends.

I was there when the 1st MUSE unit was brought on line and the small Commisary and Exchange were built. I also occasionaly wrote for the Gilmore Globe under the guise of The Roving Eye, bringing safety observations from around the ship and site.

Hi there fellow Gilmore shipmate. I cant believe it took me this many years to look up information about the "old girl". I served on the Gilmore from end of 1969 to Aug 1971. My rate was MM2 assigned to the "Oil King" gang and O2N2 generating plant. I came aboard while she was stationed in Charleston S.C. and then moved with her to Key West where I was discharged in 1971. What wonderful memories. I was wondering if there might be anyone out there that also served on her during that time. Sure would be nice to hear from old shipmates.

Hello Shipmates, I served on the Gilmore from October, 1977 until March of 1979. I was the lead Journalist for Big "G" Tv. Very fond memories include swilling 25 cent beers at the beer hall, playing football on the Ship's football team ( which lost to Sigonella in the COMFAIRMED tournament finals in Rota, Spain, in 1978), port visits to Barcelona, Palma De Majorca, Dubrovnik and Athens. Would like to get in contact with ET1 Gary Wilson, JO3 Mike (Monk) Messer, JOSN Danny (P'Nut)Pearson and JOSN Wayne Blount. Anyone remembering me, please give me a shout.

Aboard AS 16 from March 75 to May 76 in R1 div. ship fitter shop and Lagging loft. Worked most with big Smitty in Shipfitter shop. The Gilmore's crew was the best because we were all in it together. Teamwork was key.
Favorite memory- Lt. Jordan- Special services -I was the referee for the basketball league at lunchtime. R1 won the championship and there was controversy because they beat the officers. Gave a technical foul to the Captain who was terrible and got angry and snapped crazy mad that he was called for a foul in the second half of the championship game and one officer, also in the game, screamed back that I couldn't do that, so I gave him one also. He was a HUGE brownnose anyway, the R1 division won by 2 pts. and I had duty for the next month it seemed. Also went to Rome for Mother Seton's Canonization -First American Saint-
Names I remember- HT seaman Bob McCray, HT3 Jeff Nath, HT seaman Cavanaugh, HT1 Mackey, HT3 Kozminski, HT seaman Bob Booze, HT3 Schamehorn, HT 3 Walsh, HT3 Swanson, HT 3 Ron Henderson, HT3 Al Petruska,
People I forget and would like to remember- 1st class in Shipfitter shop who spoke perfect Italian and introduced me to Antonina who did my laundry over in the Gym for Creame' di peanuts (Peanut butter)
God bless the American Vet~!

Greetings to all,
I was aboard the Gilmore in 1970 - 1971 where I mustered out of Uncle Sam's yacht club on Oct. 6,1971, while the ship was at general quarters.I have not really looked back until this day. Things were alot different then, the country was in turmoil and we were not the most liked people in Key West. I think that was what made us so much stronger as shipmates. I wish I could remember all the names that I knew then, mostly I draw a blank. I was a MR striker, R-2 division shop 31A. I do remember people such as John Mariggi, a machinist named Roy, a clerk named Sessions? from the R-2 office, a shipfitter called BEAR. I spent many hours with these folks, especially in New Orleans for the Mardi Gras in "71" many nights in the foundry listening to music or just hanging out on the helo deck. Remember the sub that was sinking while tied up next to us? I had nothing to do with that ! Remember the shipfitter that was caught one night lubricating the shear? If you were aboard and remember these events or not shoot me a message. Thanks to all that have made this a great site full of memories. Lewie H. Rosner purplelx@bellsouth.net

I worked in The captain's office and also working in the engineering department working for LCDR Gary A. Curry at the time. It was a great ship. Does anyone remember the Typhoon we went thru, it was incredible....I remember like yesterday...La Maddelena was beautiful place and Club Med, Palau, the trips to Barcelona, Palma Da Majorca, Africa, Yugosalvia, Dubrovnik. It was one great time in my life, I tell all my family about it, my nephew laughs at me and says to me you've been to Sardinia, Italy, only he says Sardona'...Ha,,Ha,,He should have been there..Cdr Tortora, Captain Allen, I can't remember the XO that was killed, it was prior to me coming aboard. Also remember our trips at sea, and what our purpose was, do you????

Been working with the Marines trying to make their vehicles a little safer and last a little longer. Havn't heard from anybody in a while. Mike, I lost your e-mail address in one of my many e-mail account moves. Still looking for Sharky (oil king) and Nate (optical shop). 1975/1976 seems like such a long time ago. Planning a trip back to Sardegnia for vacation. Really can't wait. Been remembering oil spills, white Christmases (oil spill cleanups), and a visit by the secretary of the navy or the chief of naval operations, can't remember which one it was now. Anyway, hope this finds all well. Enjoy the memories.

Hello!
Well, for those of you who haven't heard, your ship may be coming "back to life". While there is still a great deal of detail to handle, Beauchamp Tower Corp(BTC) has been steadily moving ahead. There is a possiblity that BTC would let veterans "Man" GILMORE as she is being towed to Mobile for her next yard period. So, If we are serious about "...Saving a ship such as this..." Now would be the time to start learning about this effort and contacting the people involved. Hope to see you all onboard someday!

Just contacted by an old shipmate, John ("Pogo") Harnisch, and realized I needed to update my E-mail address here...
My tour on AS-16 & "The Rock" was from Aug '76-Nov '78. I vividly remember the first night onboard underway; there was a fire in the Engine Room! It's a good thing I'm not superstitious or I may not have "hung around" so long - on my first dive on a submarine there was flooding in AMR2.
From '76-'78, I was a DS3/DS2 in the ADP Shop(S6 Div) - we had a great bunch of guys to work with! Sorry, I don't remember everyone... some that I do remember are: DPC Al Palomino, DP1 Tom Marshall, DP3 John Harnisch, DP3 Steve Plaisance, and DS1 Jon Olson.
Also, I remember the "Crazy Hawaiian" ... LCDR Mahelona... the Supply Officer; he smoked these large "stogies" all the time - or always seemed to be chewin' on one, anyway.
There was an SK3 Charles who worked in the Supply space next to the ADP Shop. And CWO2 Royal of Ops Dept... I ran into him again '86-'88 when he was a LT stationed at ComSubGru9 NSB Bangor, WA.
One of the great things about the H. W. Gilmore tour was that we got underway on a "liberty cruise" about every 3-4 months. Of all the places I was able to see, I especially enjoyed visiting Barcelona, Spain; Athens, Greece; Monte Carlo, and Rome & Trieste, Italy.
If anyone from ADP(S6 Div) from '76-'78 is out there - or any H. W. Gilmore shipmates for that matter - drop a line and say hello!

I was also on the Buoy Party with Jake, Murphy & Wolfe. We were the last ones aboard ship when getting underway and the first ones off ship when Med. Mooring back home. We had to stand on those bouys as they took up slack on the anchor chains which caused them to spin and then release the shackles, what a ride that was! I have many quality photos to send. Currently I work for Bankone and also am a professional photographer. Keep up the great work! "Boats Russell"

I was an MM3 stationed onboard GILMORE from 1979 to 1981 as a member of the outside machine shop (X38A "Sluggers"). I remember guys like ENS Brian McGuire (R-2 Div. Off.), MMCM Versilles (R-2 Asst. I loved the summers (especially the island of Spargi) and playing "quarters" at the CMO Club on The Rock. I was one of the lucky ones who crossed-decked over to the USS ORION AS-18 during the Summer of '80. It took several months for the two crews to integrate as one (This is how we did it in Charleston! But this is how we do it in La Madd!) I was also a member of the ship's traveling soccer team. I have my piece of THE ROCK hanging in my den. I thought we did a great job of taking care of one another. One tends to grow up fast in La Madd. Take care shipmates!

I served onboard from April 1974 to April 1975 in the Periscope Shop (35-A)as an OMSN with men like OMC Jim Forsyth, OM3 Steve Barkow. OM3 Jim Anderson , OMSN "Elwood" Dickerson, OMSN Roger Battles and others. I have been stationed with Barkow once since. I still look up to these guys. I guess it's true that your first ship really is your last, because no of the others matter as much or are remembered for so long.

My Dad was 1st stationed in Pensacola then Key West. He was on the Gilmore in Key West they called it Building 16. I was on the ship at Christmas In 1949 or 50 and my Santa came out of the hatch(chimney was fight'n words)and all the kids got their names called for a gift. My dad was a baker and he pulled SP duty. His name; Benton Tomlin(Tommy)from Little Rock originally but married momma in Vallejo Ca. after returning from WW11 at Mare Island. Momma dosen't remember dates anymore so I'm doing my best here. We were in Fla. 18 mo's. I know for a fact that we were in Pensacola 5/8/49 cause that's when I made my 1st Holy Communion...I don't know how long we were in Pensacola before or after my communion. But from there to Key West. So I think we must have came back to Ca. in 1950 or 51. My Dad passed away in 1995....I think he's sailing the sea of clouds with some ol' mates on the "USS HEAVEN COULDN'T WAIT". If you look up real hard on a cloudy day you just might catch a faint glimpse of the outline of a ship, that be it! See a pix of my daddy and momma on Madonna's page.
I Thank each and every one of you in the Military for your service. GOD BLESS YOU ALL. Just another ol'Navy-mans brat. Madonna

Onboard Gilmore from 10/72 till about 3/74. E Division (EM-3). Finished my four years onboard the Kilauea (AE-26) homeported out of Concord, CA. Yes, I do remember the anchor chain in Haiti. Amazing, how it caught up with us in Charleston.....Anyway, my job in E Division was in the Light and Battery Shop. Besides hours and hours of generator watches I also took care of the small boat electrical systems. Vertreps were always a blast....so was hooking up shore power to the boats.
Speaking of blasts. Remember the day the SeeBees pelted the ship with rocks while blasting away the hillside to make room for the Club.
Reunion in 05, sounds good to me.

I served aboard Gilmore from Oct 1951 through Sept 1953 in Key West. I was in the 11th Division (Repair, Electronics) , starting as ETSN and departing as ET2.
I was one of several ET's who "rode" the boats while working with and training the 'green' ET's.I must have turned down 100 offers from chiefs and officers who invited me to join their crew. I loved the boats but only on my own terms.
If there are any ET's from the above era I'd enjoy hearing from them.
I left the Navy in Oct 1954, earned a EE degree from Penn State and worked for IBM for 31 years, retiring in 1989. I now teach high school math and science and, as an adjunct professor, teach physics and computer technology at a local college.

Was aboard 1952 to 1955. Came aboard while the ship was in Boston navy yard. Had gotten my 3rd class Em rating on my previous station. What luck, being a 3rd class ment I did not to go out in the cold and handel lines. Was in the 10th Div and spent many a night repairing snorkel runs. We always got the next day off and sleep in if we worked at night. I saw Victor Bush signed in. Wonder if he remembers me and the New Years Eve party we through at our house in the Seaplane base.
Road out the hurricane on the way back from Trinity Bay Newfoundland. Boy was I scared, but did not get sick. It was one wild ride. Missed the last reunion due to family illness but hope to make the next. Wish there were more of my old ship mates signing in.

I served from Oct 78 - Sept 80 in the Engineering Dept., M & A Division (mostly the A part) as MM2 then MM1 working (depending on who you talk to) in the O2N2 plant. I loved fireroom watches, oil spills, riding liberty boats on late night shore patrol (although shore patrol in the club was good living!) and 3 section duty with duty weekends!!! My son was baptised in the Ship's Library/Chapel in April 1980, was his the last baptism aboard the ship? While serving aboard a "birdfarm" in 1991 I was able to roam around the Happy Howard when she was moored pierside at Norfolk Navy Shipyard. At that time she was being used as some sort of security training facility and not much else. The whole bridge and wardroom area were covered with the residue of paintballs, etc... The entire NSF and Ship's store area were literally "gutted" to the ribs and plating. Amazingly the carpenter shop still had racks with lumber in them and our old M & A Division storeroom on the port side lower level of the fireroom still had brand new spare parts for everything from main engines to air compressors!

Served from 5/76- 5/77 in the Pattern Shop/Carpenter Shop/Lagging Locker. Under PMC Gerald Muerke (?). Was on leave the time the PX burnt down and Muerke's Turkies rebuilt it. Was on board the time the XO ran us aground and damaged the screw, requiring Drydock time in Naples. Was also on board the time that the island caught on fire. Any body remember when the Pattern Shop had a water leak and flooded the Scope shop next deck down? Some of the shipmates that I can remember: HT1 Chuck Lancaster, HT1 Joe Mealy(?), Jimmy (JJ) Justice,
G.W.Allen, Jake(The Snake)Zahorsky, HT1 Musgraves, HT Buamgardener(?) I can see a lot of faces but their names escape me. Monroe Morgan, Leo Olson,HT.Petruskia,(The fellow that was run down by an Italian driver)
Made yards of oak boat beading and plaque backs out the rear. I started craving a 3-4' set of Dolphins for one of the subs before I left. Got half of it done before shipping out. Looking forward to New Orleans this year.

I reported on board July 17, 1978. I was the Material Officer the last year on board.
While I served on board I got to know many good people. Quarterdeck watch, work details, VERTREP and underway watches. I was with CAPT Paul Klinedienst on the fantail on January 13, 1980-I guess there were about seven or eight back there when "Doctor to the fantail" and then "chaplain to the fantail" were passed over the IMC. Like it was yesterday I still remember the tears on CDR Rubino's face as he administered last rites.
I was also the decommissioning officer for the ship when we were in Norfolk, after taking her on that final trip through the Strait in CIC and then across the pond. CAPT Allen was CO, CDR Fred Jenkins XO. Glad to hear Gilmore will take its rightful place as a museum!

Served aboard the Gilmore 75 - 76. Not the greatest time of my life but in retrospect not the worst either. I was tentative about going to Italy for a year. Some one told me not to worry because there was a girl behind every tree in Sardenia. When I arrived...there were no trees.

They will be put through the ship yard in Mobile Ala. and then moored in Mobile for retro-fit. They will be used to train First Responders, in Anti-Terrorism Training to help keep this country safe again. They did for over 40 -50 years and now will be able to do it again for another 40-50 years. Check out the sight for this .. www.btcorp.us/mt . Help where you can.. Dan Howell HT2 1972-1974

Signed the Guest Book in 1999, 2000 & 2002 Glad to see it back. I was a storekeeper on the Gilmore from 1970 - 1973, began in Key West to La Maddlena, with a few cruises to New Orleans, Ft Lauderdale, Gitmo and Haiti (remember the Anchor Chain??), the to Charleston to recover the Anchor Chain, back to Key West then to La Maddlena and several ports in the Med. Enjoyed it all. I came into contact with several shipmates, especially during VertReps in La Maddlena, and others stationed on the Subs that knew me by "Squeaker." I was in assigned in several storerooms while stationed on the Gilmore and ending up in Submart, I have attended three reunions and have come in contact with past shipmates ate each one and I recommend anyone that was stationed on the Gilmore at any time to consider attending one. I have had a few contacts with other shipmates that I served with and signed the Guest Book in the past and look forward to having correspondence to others in the future.

Did not enjoy the hurricane off of Miami in 1958! Remember getting underway New Year's Day 1959 to patrol off of Havana waiting for the incoming government to release the AmCits that were there for New Years Eve "celebration". I reported aboard the Gilmore, right out of boot camp, in December of 1961. The ship was in dry dock in Charleston, SC. With many welding leads hanging off the side and a good part of the ship was painted orange “red lead” I wondered if it would ever float again. I spent my first 4 or 5 months as a “fire watch” in DC division. Life was easy; all I had to do was follow a Yard Bird welder around all day carrying a CO2 bottle to make sure he didn’t spark off any fires. I watched them put the helicopter deck on. In summer of ’62 we went on a shakedown cruise to Gitmo. I was now working in the machine shop X31. My GQ station was a repair locker and I was on the RAD CON team. I lost about 20 lbs in two weeks. The easy fire watch times were over. In ’63, I went TAD to MR “ A” school in San Diego and back to the Gilmore. I made MR-3 right after I got back aboard. I was to get out of the navy in Sept of “65 but got extended for 4 months and ended up going through another yard period in Portsmouth, VA and back to Gitma Bay again. Other cruises I went on was to Philly for an Army Navy game and to NYC to the World’s Fair. We also went to the Mardi Gras in New Orleans where Mrs. H W Gilmore came aboard with Howard’s hat and sword. The hat & sword are now in the sub museum in Groton, CT. I left the Gilmore and the navy in January of 1966. Thanks, Eldon for this great web site. I have found some of my old friends through this guest book.

My Name is Jim Conrey, from Louisville, Ky. I served in Gilmore from 10/62 to 03/65. Made it aboard in time for the Cuban Missle Crisis and JFK's assination. Scary times. Served as a Torpedoman in the Steam Shop when not a mess cook, compartment cleaner or "Captain of the Head". The recruiter told me how clean life was aboard ship but the S.O.B. didn't tell me who kept it that way! Not a big deal, after 40 years past. Life aboard the Gilmore was a good experience for a young Seaman and I learned a lot of life's lessons, mostly the hard way. The Gilmore was not noted for much Sea Duty when I was aboard but had some good liberty in Fort lauderdale, New York, Philadelphia and New Orleans, the best I can remember. I just have one question for Charleston Saiors of the 1960's: Where is Dirty Debbie?

I first discovered this site over a year ago on a lazy Friday afternoon at work. I served as an SK aboard the Howie from July '71 'til December of '72. I was separated while in the Pascagoula yards. I am overwhelmed by nostalgia every time I come to this site. What a great time we had in old KW. Because of this site, I have carried on a long and continuing correspondence with George Sullivan. Sam Crabtree was involved for a while, but he seems to have dropped of the face of the earth. I had hoped to find my old roomie Jimmy Edwards, but no luck. We shared an apartment in an historical house (home of the first MD in the Keys. I believe it was on the corner of Caroline and Duval. The house was pointed out each time the Conch Train passed. That used to wake me up on Sundays. Some of the other Sotekeepers: Jim (Squeak) Cunningham, John DeCrette (another roomie), Wayne Merit, Jim Ott, Frank (Skungepit) Graham, Bob McOsker (rode him with him from Pascagoula, he briefly dated my sister), Wendell Deloach, Skip Watson, Bob Grimm, Matt Berlin, Ron Madrid, and Roger (Wadd) Bilbrey.
