Slate is the conferences-management system we will use starting in Fall 2024. It's new to me, but I am also using it as a Consultant, holding drop-in hours at the Center weekly. It's great fun to be back helping writers. Slate offers us real power to track student progress and needs, while protecting their privacy.
This page at the syllabus gives the essentials from Ms. Ball's user's guide and will be corrected/expanded as I learn more. In time it will include a clickable table of contents.
Give it a try!

Your appointment screen with show appointments today, this week, and summary forms due.
Consultations Tab --> View my schedule link
You will see your upcoming shifts. Note that mine are drop-ins (I've checked in a writer, "Bob Student," who contacted me earlier about coming by).Â
If I want to check a different student in, see the page from the menu on Drop-Ins .
