Argue

Yesterday night, I participated in a debate competition on the topic "Globalization and Impact on Humans".

The event started 2 hours late as the four judges arrived late due to unknown reasons. All the registered participants left except two of us.

To compensate for the time loss and delay of the event, we were told to explain what globalization is in one minute. And my turn came first to present.

I said:

"Globalization is the term for the growing interdependence of the world's economies, cultures, and populations brought about by cross-border trade in goods and services, technology, and flows of investment, people, and information."

The other participant said:

"Globalization is a complex set of processes by which different complex multispecies at various locations all share the same anxiety and despair at the same time for any reason."

Three judges voted for me, saying my definition is per the world economic forum.

The last Judge voted for the other participant and started arguing about the logic and reason for his decision. He spoke for half an hour, and in the process, he convinced the other three judges to change their choices.

At the gate, I met the Judge. He told me not to worry much and handed me a paper he was currently working on.

He said:" Please, keep this. I think that you will need it more than I do. After all, it would violate the established law if I published it myself."

My eyes caught the concluding sentence of the draft:" So we observe that all-natural and artificial laws were made by men and women, and they are the only ones who can change it."

I stumbled and fell from the staircase on my face. I felt pain in my shoulder, and all papers flew out of my hands...

I was lying on the floor beside my bed. And, It was 10 AM in the morning.
