The BeTOP Lab is equipped with several building material testing tools, to study the acoustic, lighting and thermal behavior under  different conditions, including moisturized or thermally stressed ones.

The experimental expertise combined with the access to several simulation software allows combining experimental and numerical studies extensively. 

Aging tests with state-of-the-art tools for both building materials and systems are among the main focus areas.

Finally, the Laboratory is equipped with couple outdoor double climate chamber that allow to perform field investigations of up to 10 façade modules 1 m x 3 m each.
