T IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU FOLLOW THIS STEP BY STEP

DO NOT TAKE A STEP BACK WITHOUT COMPLETING THE PREVIOUS ONE

  1. Download R for Mac

  2. Download the Rprofile and ULLRToolbox files and save them in Downloads. Check that you don't have those files in Downloads because of previous installation. If this is the case, you MUST DELETE THEM before, or you will not make the installation correctly

  4. In the top panel of the Finder go to Go -> Computer -> Select your hard disk -> Library

  5. In Library, locate the Framework folder and inside it R.framework

  6. Within R.framework -> Versions -> 4.0 -> Resources -> etc

  7. Open a new Finder by pressing the Cmd+N keys and go to Downloads

  8. Copy the file Rprofile.site and paste it in the directory etc from step 6

  11. Under Applications, locate the blue R icon and run it. This will result in the installation of the libraries that the toolbox requires.

  12. Download RStudio and install it.

  13. RStudio can be configured in many ways. This PDF will help you to configure it optimally

HOW TO UPGRADE ULLRToolbox

  1. Configure your web browser to ask you where you want to download the files. Depending on whether it's Firefox, Chrome or Safari, you'll do it differently. If you don't, it will download in Downloads and if you have another version it will rename it, which will disable the toolbox

  2. Download (NOT OPEN) the file ULLRtoolbox.v.1.0.Eng.R and put it in Applications

  3. Run RStudio normally
