Ukrainian Entomological Journal

Founded in 2010 by the Ukrainian Entomological Society,

I.I.Schmalhausen Institute of Zoology, NAS of Ukraine and Institute of Plant Protection, NAAS of Ukraine

Aims and Scopes. Ukrainian Entomological Journal covers all the branches of general and applied entomology. It is understood that manuscripts submitted to Ukrainian Entomological Journal have not been offered to any other journal for prior or simultaneous publication. The length of manuscripts generally should not exceed 50 printed pages. Exceptions can be negotiated in advance with the Editor-in-Chief.

The journal is published twice a year by the Council of the Ukrainian Entomological Society.

All new manuscripts and correspondence regarding editorial matters should be sent to the Secretary.

Editorial procedures: Editor-in-Chief and Associate Editors consider submitted manuscripts and decide if they are suitable for publication in the journal. Only papers considered suitable will be sent out for review. All manuscripts will have a minimum one external reviewer, plus one reviewer, who is who a members of the Editorial Board; this does not preclude members of the Editorial Board. The choice of reviewers is the responsibility of the Editor-in-Chief and Associate Editors. The decision to accept or reject a manuscript once the review process has been followed is the responsibility of the Editor-in-Chief and Associate Editors and/or the Editorial Board. No papers may be accepted without going under the above procedure. In case of negative reviews, authors may be given an opportunity to respond before the Editor-in-Chief and Associate Editors and/or the Editorial Board draw a final decision. The Editorial Board and the Editorial Advisory Board members will be expected to comment on the quality of the journal content and production shortly after issues are published, to ensure that there is no drop in standard.
