Travel day. SFO to Osaka Japan.

We left Sacramento at 6:40 am and made the curb at San Francisco International airport by 9:20 am. We met Lucio Gomiero of Vignalta Winery at the gate, as he was on the flight with us and would be traveling along side us to some of our destinations. Our flight left San Francisco International on time at 11:20 am. The weather was clear and the 12 hour 50 minute flight to Osaka went very smoothly.

The flight path took us over some extraordinary views of the Stinson Beach - Bolinas Headlands area of Marin County, Point Reyes Peninsula, and the Siberian Peninsula between the Bering Sea and the Sea of Okhotsk.

Since we were on our way to Japan, Darrell and I opted for the Japanese lunch served in business class.

We crossed the International date line shortly after passing Alaska on our loop over to Japan. On to the next day.
