Darrell was invited to visit a yellow wine production in Shaoxing, China by the chairman Jin of the Kuaijishan company, which has been making Shaoxing rice wine since the year 1743. His deciding factor to make the journey was that the Xiamen International Tea Industry Fair, which Darrell has attended many times, was to launch their inaugural Spring Edition of the Fair running May 9th - 13th, 2019. Follow along these pages to travel along with us from Hong Kong, along the western regions of China, and finally across central Japan.
