A visit to Soulside Coffee.

We were invited to visit the vintage coffee machine collection of a south Sacramento resident who is friends with a very good customer and friend of ours. He told us that she was looking to expand her business wanting to include Hand Roasted Single Origin Coffee and asked us if we might be interested in meeting her and trying some of her roasts.
Cher has been operating her business of collecting, restoring, and selling vintage coffee machines from her Sacramento home. The business was born out of her love of coffee. Her first coffee roasting experience came at age 20 in the David mountains outside Panama City, Panama where she was living at the time. The experience of that first roast on an iron pan over a wood fire would become ingrained into her coffee soul. She has traveled through many of the world’s coffee growing regions over time allowing for her to develop very high roasting skills. Cher wanted more from coffee, so she began the Soulside Coffee Company in Sacramento dedicated to the art of Hand Roasted Single Origin Coffee. We were very taken by Cher Grosse's talents for not only high quality roasting, but her ability to source small lot and very unique coffee beans. She has managed to receive a very consistent following by our customers. Thank you Cher!
