Tuesday June 2, 2026 - Knob Mtn/Beecher Ridge/Overall Run/AT Loop Starting at at Elkwallow we will hike 16.2 miles, 3600 feet.

Tuesday June 16, 2026 - 17th Annual Big Meadows Luncheon with Rose River Splash Down. Central District SNP. From the Rose River trailhead, we will ascend the Rapidan Fire Road for a leisurely lunch at Big Meadows Lodge. After lunch we will descend the Rose River Fire Road for a splashdown in the Rose River at the trailhead; about 16 miles with 2600 feet of ascent. For the more vigorously inclined there is an option to visit President Hoover’s Rapidan Camp before lunch; about 18 miles with 3000 feet of ascent.

Tuesday July 7, 2026 - Patuxent River/Jug Bay -We will do the Purple, Yellow, Brown, Blue, Green, and Red loops in the Patuxent River Park/Jug Bay Natural Area. About 17 miles and 1500' elevation.

Tuesday Agust 4, 2026 - Gattysburg Battlefield - We will explore much of the Battlefield and the beautiful farms, fields and meadows preserved as they were at the time. We will be mostly hiking with a couple of stops for key monuments and overlooks. 16M/1500 feet elevation double loop with stop back at the Visitors Center at 10M for lunchtime if needed to cool off/ get water/ leave early.
