Tuesday July 14, 2026 - Waites Run and On - Starting on Waites Run, we will head toward Old Mine and then German Wilson trails. After an out-and-back at Half Moon Lookout, we will follow Halfmoon trail and then the Tuscarora. We will stop for lunch at White Rocks, then take the Old Mail Path, turn onto Racer Camp Hollow trail and finally turn left onto Wilson Cove trail and come back to Waites Run. There will be a splashdown opportunity in Waites Run. There is also an opportunity to cut off a couple of miles at the end by continuing on the Old Mail Path trail and turning left onto Wilson Cove trail. bout 17 (or 14.5) miles, 2400' elevation.

Tuesday July 21, 2026 - Pinnacles - From Pinnacles Picnic Area we will walk South on the AT then dip down to Corbin Cabin before heading up to Limberlost area then looping South and back up on AT to Skyland for lunch. Stay North on AT and back to Pinnacles. (15 Miles, 3345 elev. gain)

Tuesday Jult 28, 2026 - Pinnacles Lollipop: - Starts on Nicholson Hollow to Hot/Short Mountain to Hazel Mountain/Meadow Spring to AT and past the Pinnacle to Corbin Cabin Cutoff to Nicholson hollow.
Distance is 18.2 miles with 3700 of ascent.

Tuesday Agust 4, 2026 - Gattysburg Battlefield - We will explore much of the Battlefield and the beautiful farms, fields and meadows preserved as they were at the time. We will be mostly hiking with a couple of stops for key monuments and overlooks. 16M/1500 feet elevation double loop with stop back at the Visitors Center at 10M for lunchtime if needed to cool off/ get water/ leave early.

Tuesday Agust 11, 2026 - Piney Ridge–AT–Hull School Trail Loop. (PATC Map 9) Starting at the Keyser Run Fire Road at the end of VA614, we’ll take the Hull School Trail to the Piney Branch Trail and Piney Ridge Trail then climb to the Appalachian Trail and take it south to Beahm’s Gap. Return via the Hull School Trail to parking. Approximately 18 miles with 4,200’ elevation gain.

Tuesday Agust 18, 2026 - Piney Ridge–AT–Hull School Trail Loop -- (PATC Map 9) Starting at the Keyser Run Fire Road at the end of VA614, we’ll take the Hull School Trail to the Piney Branch Trail and climb to the Appalachian Trail turning left on the Byrd’s Nest 4 trail to Beahm’s Gap. Return via the Hull School Trail and Kiser Run Road to parking. Approximately 17 miles with 4,430 ’ elevation gain.
