 Anyone is welcome to signup for the weekly emails. These hikes and many more for everyone are listed on the Potomac Appalachian Trail Club [PATC] Calendar of Activities. Tuesday January 20, 2026 - Mathews Arm, Knob Mtn, AT Loop: 17.5 mi./4,000 ft

Tuesday January 27, 2026 - Little Devil -  Little Devil Stairs, AT, Mathews Arm, Elkwallow Piney Ridge - 15.4 niles 3,900ft

Tuesday Febuary 10, 2026 - Burke Lake, Lake Mercer, and CCT section. Starting from South Run Park, Springfield, this fast-paced hike will circle Lake Mercer, with a side out-and-back through Pohick Stream Valley on a CCT section, returning on the opposite side of Lake Mercer and continuing around Burke Lake.  14.5 miles,

Tuesday Febuary 17, 2026 - Elizabeth Furnace/Signal Knob - (PATC Map G) Starting at Elizabeth Furnace, hikers will do a figure-8 to Shawl Gap, Sherman Gap, Meneka Peak, and Bear Wallow back down to Elizabeth Furnace. 17.5 miles and about 3800' elevation.

Tuesday Febuary 23, 2026 -  First Section of HAM - PenMar Park to Ensign Cowall Shelter: 1st section of the Hike Across Maryland out and back (flexible). Approximately 20 miles/ 3800 feet elevation.
