Volunteer Opportunities

Please be aware that parents or guardians who volunteer for band must obtain a prior background check/clearance in advance and have a copy stored in the booster's office.

This will be strictly enforced to comply with both district policy and state law to ensure the safety of our students. We sincerely appreciate you understanding and compliance with this policy. 

ACT 151 CHILD ABUSE CLEARANCE:  As of 7/25/2015, there is no fee for volunteers who apply for this clearance. You may obtain this online at https://www.compass.state.pa.us/cwis/public/home

ACT 34 CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK As of 7/25/2015, there is no fee for volunteers who apply for this clearance. You may obtain this online at https://epatch.pa.gov/home

PLEASE BE GENEROUS WITH YOUR VOLUNTEER TIME.  Volunteer help is crucial in making this a successful year for our students.  When EVERYONE pitches in, there is not a burden on a few.  We APPRECIATE you and this is a great way to get to know fellow Band Parents.

REMEMBER when volunteering, the ENTIRE EVENT must be worked from Beginning to End, and you MUST SIGN IN/OUT to get credit for your participation.

Your Participation Fee will be returned upon working 2 full activities and attending 3 parent meetings.
