Happy New Year Boosters!!!
As we start the new year here are some important Updates.
1. THIS THURSDAY, Jan 8th, DINE TO DONATE AT TEXAS ROAD HOUSE, 4pm -10pm. You MUST present the flyer to tell server you are with the band fundraiser. Boosters will be having a raffle basket fundraiser at the door as well. Come join us for a fun dinner out.
2. January 21st is a Booster Parent Meeting at 6pm. Any parent who has a student going on the band trip must be present as there will be a FL Trip MANDATORY MEETING as a part of this booster meeting.
3. Indoor Guard and Indoor Drumline are continuing their practice schedule. Drumline: Mon/Wed 6-9pm, Guard: Tues/Fri 6-9pm. Comps have been added to our band calendar online
4. Raffle Session 2-Winter blue raffle tickets will go on sale. $25/book. It is mandatory for all indoor guard/drumline students to sell at least 1 book. All marching band students are welcome to participate in selling raffle chances at $25/book. All profits from 1st book will go to Band General Fund and students will receive $10/book into their student accounts for each additional book. Drawing will be at the spring concert.
5. Check out our FB to see our Indoor Guard Reveal our Flag fundraiser. Each tile removal can be removed to see what the flag for this season will look like.

Hi Boosters,
I want to start by saying THANK YOU to all the volunteers, parents and students that worked on the committee, setup, ran the event stations, were vendors, and cleaned up our Santa Breakfast event this weekend! We did a great job all together and it ran very well. Of course every event is going to have some hiccups, but overall I believe they were minimal and manageable. If you didn't sign in to the Volunteer Sheet in front of the booster office please email us so you get your volunteer credit. We are going over the sheet to write in volunteers we saw, but I don't want to forget anyone. Thank you so much!
This week Truman has a winter concert for choir and concert band on Wednesday Dec 17th. I hope to see you all there. Before the concert starts we will sell candy/chip grams for students, we will setup our merch table if you need items for holiday gifts, and we will have someone available to take Dec trip payments.
This Monday and Tuesday evening, we will have boosters around to hand out raffle baskets so if you would like to come drop off trip payments that day it works as well.
Thursday DEC 18th is DINE TO DONATE @ RED ROBIN. Come enjoy a burger/salad, tell them you are with Truman Band for us to get the credit, and don't forget to use your raise right at check out
Indoor Color Guard is running a Reveal our Silk fundraiser. We are posting it on FB if you would like to donate to indoor color guard.
I don't have the jackets yet but I expect them this week. I will email as soon as I have them to hand out.

Hi Boosters!
Kids get to enjoy some downtime this week but Boosters are still going strong :) Thank you to all the volunteers this season that supported the band through all the games and comps! So much appreciated!!!!!
Office Hours- are 6-8pm Wednesday 10/29 to turn in jacket orders, trip payments, pie order and last day to accept Gift Card Calendar slot chances.
We will continue office hours into early December so check with our website for our schedule

THANK YOU so much to all the parent volunteers on Friday Night and at the Comp on Saturday. everyone worked together to get the equipment and props to all the staging areas. so much appreciated!
This Friday is a Home Game with Senior Night, PINK OUT and Middle School Night. Senior night reception will begin at 4pm. Seniors are encouraged to come a few min earlier to get into uniform. For those helping setup please arrive by 3pm. It is also Middle School Night. The middle school students will come and play in the stands with us.
Parent Meeting is Oct 15th 6pm in the Truman cafeteria.
Water Bottle Donations (small bottles preferred please) are needed to finish out the season to supply water during practice, games and parades.We are almost out of water. Please bring your case of water to the booster office Monday(tomorrow) or next week.
Band Jacket Orders will be taken from now until Oct 31st.

Band Photos Date: August 27th starting around 4:30 which will go into rehearsal time until finished. Arrival time to get into uniforms will be announced later.

Football mania raffle tickets are for sale during Booster office hours. Please come in and see us for additional tickets to sell ($20 each) This is a fundraiser that after the first tickets are sold you can get a portion of the sale to your student's account so please consider this fundraising opportunity. Mania tickets can be sold online as well, please see the Fundraising Football Mania page to see how to setup a sellers page.

Band Camp Sign-Up Genius for Snacks
Every day at Band Camp we like to provide the students with a snack. It is a time the students look forward to and they are always so appreciative for the snack and the break! If each family can donate a snack it really helps to spread out the costs for everyone.
Some past donations have been fruit, chips, cheese sticks, cookies, brownies, ice pops and ice cream. Snacks can be homemade or store bought. We have approximately 90 members this year; you are not expected to provide enough for all members but are welcome to if you would like.
Suggestions:
Monday: Sweet Snacks (Baked Goods, Pre-packaged Cookies, Fruit Snacks, Rice Krispies Treats, etc.)
Tuesday: Fruit Day (Fresh Fruit - Apple Slices, Watermelon Slices, Melon Slices, Grapes)
Wednesday: Cold Snack Day (Ice Cream Sandwiches, Cups, Cones / Freezer Pops)
Thursday: Salty Day (Chips, Pretzels, PopCorn)
Friday: Cheesy Day (Cheese Sticks, Cheese & Crackers)

Uniform Sizing
Uniform sizing this '25/26 season will be done during band camp hours. More information on exact schedule coming soon.
This sizing is for instrumental students only. Color Guard members will do their sizing with Michelle at another time.
Returning members: please have your student bring their marching band shoes (Dinkles) to their uniform sizing. Returning members are encouraged to check the condition and sizing of their current shirts and shoes
New members: please know your dress shoe size and/or be prepared to try to sample shoes. Please wear socks!
