Message from Scoutmaster:

Just a reminder about the Tuesday, March 13 Troop Meeting. We will be loading the Troop Trailer with our gear for this weekends campout. Please have your son's equipment ready to load. Also remember the weather for this weekends campout may be cool at night and a possibility of rain. Please have rain gear available in a day pack which your son can carry with him in the car on the way down to camp.

A reminder about your son's Scout Book. Please make sure he packs it in his day pack as well. We should be able to cover several Rank Advancement requirements, one of which will be a five mile hike, weather permitting. Mr. Raibourn will take charge of that event, any adults wishing to help, put on your hiking boots and come along. Thank you Mr. Raibourn.

Our Scouts Ranked Star and above will be assisting in Knots and Lashing, First Aid carry and other requirements in the Tenderfoot, Second Class and First Class Ranks. After that duty is done, around three o'clock, Mr. Tigges will head out with the older Scouts to work on Wilderness Training. Thank you Mr. Tigges.

Last thing, take a look at your Medical dates and when your A and B forms expire. If you are in the Yellow, please fill out a new Medical Form tonight at the meeting & bring a copy of your insurance card that we can attach to it. Remember that tonight, we take up Campout money. Each Scout going on the trip will need $15.00 in CASH. Please have your Scout in Class A uniform and we will see you there.

Sincerely,

Jim Keester
