We will be postponing our Rocket Launch Tonight. We are concerned with the predictions of a hight chance for severe weather in our area. Our activity was going to be out doors and there just isn't adequate protection in case severe weather came our way. We have families from all over northern Oklahoma County.
"The National Weather Service warned in unusually strong terms that the threat for severe weather Tuesday in the Oklahoma City area and much of the state is high.

However......
IF NO STORMS THREATEN THE METRO - if no storms are threatening the metro, we will meet at the church. We will ask the scoutmaster and ASM's to be there to sign off on requrements. Those going on the float trip can drop off their money. If you are uncertain, whether someone is at the church, you can contact Mr. Willit at 850-2126 or Mr. Keester 408-1485 or me at 831-3022
IF STORMS ARE WEST OF THE METRO AND HEADED THIS WAY We won't be there. Please don't venture out. Large Hail, Lightening and Tornados and high winds aren't worth it. Mr. Willit and I are both big chickens with tornados.
Canoe Trip - The canoe trip is still on.
1. Make sure you either pay tonight or $30
2. Email Mr. Willit and let him know you will pay on Friday.
It's going to be a lot of fun.
Yours in Scouting,
Tim Reese
