Troop 750 Eagle Projects

Troop 750 is proud to present a summary of Eagle Service Projects completed by our scouts.

These scouts, and their hard working project crews, are making substantial and lasting contributions to improve our community in many different ways! Scouts from Troop 750 participate in many worthy service projects organized by other people (beach cleanup, food drive, etc). But these projects are different. They are completely conceived, planned and led by the scout.

An Eagle Scout Service Project is a major step in the completion of the Eagle rank, Scouting’s highest award. The project is an opportunity for the scout to demonstrate leadership skills while performing a service that will have lasting benefit to his community. The scout must make a proposal, create a plan, obtain permissions, and raise money, then organize and direct others in doing the actual project work. The National Eagle Scout Association estimates that Eagle service projects bring more than three million hours of volunteer work to US communities every year.
