Eagle Scout Honor Roll

Nikhil joined Troop 295 in 2014 and earned his Eagle rank on April 4, 2021.

Nikhil went on Summer Camps in Colorado and at Buffalo Trails in Southwest Texas. 

For his Eagle project, Nikhil built and installed three benches for Canyon Creek Presbyterian Church. The benches were placed in the Nature Area and Prayer Garden.

Morgan joined Troop 295 in 2014 and earned his Eagle rank on December 22, 2020. 

Morgan was SPL in  2017 and was an avid camper accumulating 121 nights of camping during his scouting career. He went on high adventure trips to Alaska in 2018 and Northern Tier in 2019.

For his Eagle project, Morgan built and installed tree identification signs on Huck Finn Trail at Prairie Creek Park.

Jonathon joined Troop 295 in 2013 and earned his Eagle rank in November, 2020.

For his Eagle project, Joanthon built two large compost bins for Canyon Creek Presbyterian Church

Connor joined Troop 295 in 2013 and earned  his Eagle rank on June 25, 2020 

Connor loved camping and currently holds the Troop record for most nights camping with 133 nights !! Connor was SPL and went oin high adventure trips to Alaska, Philmont and Northern Tier. In addition to his Eagle rank, Connor also earned the Bronze, Silver and Gold Palms.

For his Eagle project, Connor built two large dog kennels for Dallas Street Dog Advocates.

Christian joined Troop 295 in 2018 and earned  his Eagle rank on September 23, 2019. 

 Christian recommitted to scouts after turning 16 and showed remarkable dedication and commitment to get from First Class to Eagle rank in 17 months, just a few days before his 18th birthday. 

For his Eagle project, Christian built a beautiful cedar bench at Murpy Native Gardens

Kyle joined Troop 295 in 2012 and also earned his Eagle rank on July 8, 2019. 

Kyle was Patrol Leader a number of times and twice went to summer camp in Colorado. He also went to Northern Tier in 2015. 

For his Eagle project, Kyle built built a memorial garden at Murphy Middle School. It was an ambitious project and although the weather gods did not cooperate at all, the finished project is something to be very proud of.

Dylan joined Troop 295 in 2012 and earned his Eagle rank on July 8, 2019. 

Dylan was an enthusiastic camper and rarely missed a camp out as he progressed through the ranks. He went to all three High adventure Bases and earned the Triple Crown. 

For his Eagle project, Dylan built an Arbor at the Murphy Native Gardens.

Jonathan joined Troop 295 in 2012 and earned his Eagle rank on March 19, 2019.  He also earned his Bronze, Gold and Silver Palms. 

Jonathan served as Senior Patrol Leader in 2016. Jonathan also earned the National Outdoor award for Camping and the Religious Emblem Award.  Jonathan was a member of the Order of the Arrow and participated in High Adventure Treks to Philmont Scout Ranch and Haines, Alaska. 

For his Eagle project, Jonathan built a GaGa Ball Pit for Spring Creek Community Church.

Jared Zak joined Troop 295 in 2012 and earned his Eagle rank on November 14, 2018.

Jared served as Assistant Senior Patrol Leader in 2016 and also served several terms as Patrol Leader. Jared also earned the National Outdoor award for Camping.  Jared was a member of the Order of the Arrow, and earned Scouting's Triple Crown, by going to Philmont Scout Ranch, Northern Tier and Florida Sea Base. 

For his Eagle project, Jared and a lot of friends painted the boundary wall for the Collin County Children's Advocacy Center.

Hunter Peirson joined Troop 295 in 2010 and earned his Eagle rank on July 2, 2018.

Hunter was Senior Patrol Leader in 2014.  Hunter was also very active in the Order of the Arrow serving as Chapter Chief and Vice Chief for the Lodge in addition to earning Vigil Honor.  Hunter also went on treks to Philmont Scout Ranch and Florida Sea Base.

For his Eagle project, Hunter built an outdoor learning center at Murphy Middle School. 

Joseph Emerson joined Troop 295 in 2013 and earned his Eagle rank on June 1st, 2018. He also earned his Bronze and Gold Palms.

Joseph served as Assistant Senior Patrol Leader in 2017 and also served several terms as Patrol Leader in addition to serving as a Den Chief. 

Joseph earned the National Outdoor award for Camping. Joseph was a member of the Order of the Arrow and went on treks to Philmont Scout Ranch, Florida Seabase and Haines, Alaska.

Joseph's Eagle project was for the Murphy  Native Demonstration garden. He cleared out weeds, prepared a new planting area, planted native plants, built two benches and a table together with a pavestone walkway extending from a concrete sidewalk .

Ben Walker joined Troop 295 in 2012 and earned his Eagle rank on February 5, 2018. 

Ben served as Assistant Senior Patrol Leader in 2015.  Ben also served as the Troop's Scribe and as a Patrol Leader.  Ben was also a member of the Order of the Arrow.  

Ben did his Eagle project for Trusted World. Ben designed and built a donation bin that will be used to collect clothes. 

Jeffrey joined Troop 295 in 2012 and earned his Eagle rank on November 13, 2017.  He also earned his Bronze Palm.

Jeffrey served as Assistant Senior Patrol Leader in 2016 and also served several terms as Patrol Leader, Scribe and Junior Assistant Scoutmaster.  Jeffrey was also a member of the Order of the Arrow.  

Jeffrey did his Eagle project for Canyon Creek Presbyterian Church. His project was to rebuild their front garden. This involved removing the old shrubs, which were dying out, and laying out, selecting and planting new shrubs more suitable for the area.
