In our Troop, we encourage all scouts to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout. Our Eagle Coordinator helps candidates with their Eagle project and the final procedures. The "Eagles Nest" is for scouts who have achieved the Life Scout rank and have the potential of becoming an Eagle. The Eagles Nest meetings are normally at 7:00 pm on the third Monday of each month. (During the Summer months when the Troop meets on the third Monday and instances where a scheduling conflict exists the Eagles Nest meets on the same day as the Troop Committee meeting. Our 75th Eagle Scout is below.
Latest Eagle Scout (#77)
Jonathan joined Troop 295 in 2012 and earned his Eagle rank on March 19, 2019. He also earned his Bronze, Gold and Silver Palms.
Jonathan served as Senior Patrol Leader in 2016. Jonathan also earned the National Outdoor award for Camping and the Religious Emblem Award. Jonathan was a member of the Order of the Arrow and participated in High Adventure Treks to Philmont Scout Ranch and Haines, Alaska.
For his Eagle project, Jonathan built a GaGa Ball Pit for Spring Creek Community Church.
