In our Troop, we encourage all scouts to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout. Our Eagle Coordinator helps candidates with their Eagle project and the final procedures. The "Eagles Nest" is for scouts who have achieved the Life Scout rank and have the potential of becoming an Eagle. The Eagles Nest meetings are normally at 7:00 pm on the third Monday of each month. (During the Summer months when the Troop meets on the third Monday and instances where a scheduling conflict exists the Eagles Nest meets on the same day as the Troop Committee meeting. Latest Eagle Scout (#75, Hunter Peirson)
Hunter Peirson joined Troop 295 in 2010 and 8 years later earned his Eagle rank on July 2, 2018.
Hunter was Senior Patrol Leader in 2014 and was a very active member of the Order of the Arrow.
For his eagle project, Hunter built an outside learning center at Murphy Middle School.
