The Tremane GAA Club annual Christmas draw tickets are on sale now, with over €2500 worth in prizes and a first prize of €1000. As this is the clubs main fundraiser for the coming year, your support will be much appreciated. Contact any club member for details. The draw will take place at the club social night on the 3rd of January in the Bridge House, Athleague.
This St Stephens Day, Tremane Hurling Club and Rahara Rovers Football Club play their annual charity football match at Clover Park, Rahara at 12pm.
All funds raised from the match will be donated to Duchenne Muscular Distrophy (DMD), which is a degenerative disease of the muscles of the body of which there is no cure at present. This charity has come to prominence recently with the news that a family in Roscommon has THREE boys with this terrible disease. Visit 'Our Three Boys' on Facebook for full details.
We ask for anyone that can either play or support us that day to do so, if you cant make it to the game we will have collection buckets around all that day and night.
In addition to this, on the night of the the Tremane Christmas draw, there will be a raffle to raise further funds for the charity. If anyone can help us out in the next few weeks in any way please contact Martin Conneally or Adrian Daly for details. If you can donate gifts, vouchers, cash, services etc for the night of the raffle it would be most appreciated.
So come along to Rahara on St Stephens Day for a good laugh and raise awareness and funds for this charity.
Tremane Hurling Club wishes all its members, supporters, sponsors and their families a happy and peaceful Christmas and prosperous New year.
