3. 39 papers reviewed leading up to 2007 meeting related to a joint call for papers with the Transportation Network Modeling Committee (ADB30), 9 of which came directly to the Subcommittee, approximately 10 of which were ultimately published.
4. 22 papers (an additional 13 papers) were presented by the Subcommittee, 10 of which were accepted for presentation

Midyear Meeting
The 2007 mid-year meeting was held on July 11, in conjunction with the 2007 Natural Hazards Workshop in Boulder, Colorado. The agenda included the development of a Scope and Mission for possible request to create a TRB Taskforce on Emergency Evacuation; Coordination with other TRB committees. Held main meeting and break-out sessions - 15 attendees
Conferences
Co-sponsored two full conferences:
· “National Conference on Disaster Planning for the Carless Society” held in New Orleans, Louisiana on February 8th and 9th with an attendance of over 200.
· “Freeway and Tolling Operations in the Americas” Conference held in Houston, Texas, May 20-23.
Workshop
The committee also assisted with the development of an emergency transportation workshop at the 9th International Conference on Low Volume Roads in Austin, Texas, June 24-27.
