My fascination with cars started in 2002 when I was invited to an auction in Milford, OH
by my brother Jim.
I bought the 1911 Cadillac Model 30 Touring Car, not quite a basket case. It took years to restore.
Sometime during this time, I found a 1931 Ford Model A replica (1973 Glassic) at an Indiana Classsic car dealer. I spent a bit of money fixing it up but lost interest in it. The foot space for the driver was much to small for my big feet. Sold this on Ebay later to some fellow from St. Charles, MO.
I found a 1920 Overland project car on the east coast. I thought I could a restoration by myself. I started taking it apart and doing the woodwork. But the I was unable to do the the metalwork required. I decided to sell it on Ebay. The buyer was a local guy, Brian, who now became my car buddy.
As I was driving towards Red Lion one day, I saw a beige 1936 Buick Sedan for sale in Jack Poff's driveway. I had to have it. I thought it was only a small tune-up from getting in running condition. I was wrong. It took a couple years to restore.
Once again, my brother Jim showed me an ad about a 1930 Cadillac V16 sedan located in Cleves, OH. I bought it not knowing how expensive it would be to restore. I collected a lot of new and used parts. My car buddy Brian rescued me by buying the car from me. He just started to "get into" V16's.
I wanted a late thirties convertible to add to my collection. One of the members of the CLC knew a fellow who wanted to sell his 1939 Cadillac 61 Convertible in Oregon. I made the deal and shipped it to Dayton. Still under construction.
Then my car buddy Brian asked if I needed a 1936 Daimler Limousine. Two people had bought the car, paid for it and never came to pick it up. Well, I got another car.
Then the barn had to be expanded to house these cars reasonably. Then I had to fill it up. So then came the 1910 Hupmobile Runabout, 1929 Buick Rumble seat coupe, and 1926 Dodge Brother Touring Car.
Then of course more cars came and left. Check the rest of my site.
