This 1932 Pierce Arrow Club Brougham Coupe has a 137 in. WB and a powerful 125 hp straight eight engine. Advanced features include startix ignition, ride control, and freewheeling.
Fred Tycher of Texas had owned this CCCA classic car for forty years. He bought the car from a fellow in Minnesota. It was then sold to a Patrick Craig in California's central valley who owned it for 20 years. It is not known when the car was last running. I bought the car from Patrick.
This car is wearing 90% of its original paint and has completely original upholstery. All original badges, medallions and mascot are present.
Floyd Mills and his crew were responsible for awakening the great car from its long sleep. John Cislak (Indian Orchard, MA) and Greg Long (MI) supplied parts and expertise. Parts included new stainless water pump shaft, restored water jacket cover, startix, original oil filter, new stainless head bolts, new timing chain, spark plugs and points/rotor. The Stromberg UUR - 2 carburetor was rebuilt along with the starter and generator.
The Stan Hywet Concours D'Elegance in Akron was held on September 21st. Floyd Mills arrived in Akron with the car at midnight just in time for the show. Wayne Carini was a special guest of the Concours. He loved our unrestored original Pierce Arrow and suggested we keep it as original as possible.

The radiator eventually will require a recore. The gas tank needs reconditioning. A new wiring harness will be installed. Some suspension work is needed.
The above work was done just in time for the Dayton Carillon Concours D'Elegance on September 20, 2015. We were entered into the "Preserved Class up to '42". We won!! See a photo and a video of our award.
We were invited to bring the Pierce Arrow to the 2017 Dayton Carillon Concours show to participate in the class "Cars of Orville Wright". We brought the 1910 Hupmobile also and entered it into the antique class. It won an award so see the Hupmobile's page here.
Once again, people loved the Pierce Arrow.
