Eighteen years ago I decided that I needed to better organize my baseball photo collection. I standardized on a naming convention and created a database that included every Major League player and manager. In 2010 I extended the database to include coaches, and in 2011 I added umpires. My Major League database now includes every player/team, manager/team, coach/team and umpire/league combination from 1871-2021. A few sample records from the database are shown below:

I have also created a similar database to track my minor league collection. My minor league database includes only players (no managers, coaches or umpires). Over 550,000 player/team combinations are included. A few sample records from the database are shown below:

After receiving several requests, I have decided to make blank copies of my databases available for those who wish to use them to track their own image collection. At the moment the databases are only available in Microsoft Access format, but I may be willing to consider making other formats available.
