Basket Raffle

This February the Theuerkauf PTA is hosting a Raffle Basket fundraiser to be held during our Annual Friendship Dance on Friday, February 6. 

We are asking for each grade level to put together a themed gift basket to be raffled off at the Friendship Dance. 

How it works: 

Students in each class contribute items based on a set theme, and then volunteers assemble the baskets.  The baskets will be on display on the stage during the Friendship Dance. Students can purchase raffle tickets from PTA volunteers at the ticket table. Basket winners will be randomly drawn after the dance and winners will be notified on Monday, February 9th.

What is a Raffle?

A raffle is a fundraiser where families can buy tickets. All the tickets go into a drawing, and one ticket is selected to win a prize. 

What is a Raffle Basket? 

A raffle basket is a prize made up of several related items grouped together. Families can choose which basket they want their tickets entered into.

How to Help: 

• Begin sending in donations NOW through Monday, February 2nd

  • The PTA requests that students bring donations of NEW items (specific to their selected theme as listed below) to their classroom, where collection baskets will be provided. The deadline to donate items is February 2nd. 

  • Donations DO NOT need to be expensive, but something a child would enjoy receiving. For example, if your child had “Movie Night,” you could donate movie passes, popcorn, , etc.

• Purchase Raffle Tickets during the Friendship Dance on Friday, February 6th

  • Parents, staff, and students may purchase tickets 1 ticket for $1 

  • Students will need to write their name and their homeroom teacher’s name on the back of each ticket.  

  • Winners will be announced after the dance and winners will be notified on Monday, February 9th.
