4.1. everyday applications

We first look at problems that a traveler-kinematics introduction might help one address in the relatively low-speed activities characteristic of everyday life on earth. 

Some everyday problems that put the traveler kinematic to use are provided on the subpages linked below. They cover topics like:

• accelerated frames

• energy versus momentum

• gravity's effect on clocks

• magnetism & radar-distance

These problems should be possible for students to work, or at least get a feeling for conceptually, with only the mathematics background needed for an introductory physics course.
