Research (30 points each):

1. In Tudor times, people had very different ideas about child-rearing. Research some of the advice given to parents at this time and write an essay about it. How were children expected to behave and what sorts of punishments were given? Were royal children treated any differently? You can also write a short story instead of an essay, but in either case the minimum is 250 words, and please cite any sources you use.

2. Lady Jane had two younger sisters, Katherine and Mary. They also had claims to the English crown, claims which were to have great effect on their lives. Research either of them and write an essay on their lives. The minimum is 250 words, and be sure to list your sources. Do not copy-paste!
