Scheduled Training & Class Details
This class isn't actually taught by Lander Defense LLC, but it is important.
At $65 it is a bargain.
Eric Hart, the instructor, is a working paramedic, military medic for the National Guard and a Certified trainer.
"The goal of the course is to teach YOU how to recognize and be able to treat life threatening bleeding. Injuries that can cause such bleeding could be gunshot or stab wounds and that is what most people think of, but that is not all, people can bleed out and die from car accidents, farming/industrial accidents and even cuts from broken glass. We want YOU to be able to save a life by controlling severe bleeding before first responders arrive!"
Novice Mama Bear 1
Prerequisites: Women Only. This class will not be too advanced for you. It is for anyone with little or no knowledge of self defense and firearms.
Duration: About 3 hours - No Live Fire

Novice Mama Bear 2

- Firearms handling - How to make the gun work
- Safely dealing with stoppages (also called "malfunctions") - What to do when your gun doesn't work
- How to shoot accurately
- Situational Awareness 2
- Mindset - Training for defense vs. Training for target shooting
- Verbal de-escalation
- Introduction to Firearm retention - What to do if someone tries to grab your gun
- Homework - Reading, situational awareness drills and firearm dry practice (at home with no live ammunition).
