Welcome to The Curiosity Path - providing hands-on opportunities for people to stimulate imaginations, explore ideas, test theories, make connections, and create memories through the sciences, through the arts, and through nature.

Classes are available by arrangement to fit your schedule. We can meet at your site, at my site, somewhere outdoors, or through Zoom. I have worked with science fairs, art fairs, Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, Red Hats, day care classes, after school classes, in-school classes, and homeschool events.

Homeschooler Classes 2024-25

Registration is now open for Curiosity Path events.

Each month, The Curiosity Path offers both “unplugged” hands-on STEAM classes for elementary-aged kids and MAKERS / crafters / artist exploring workshops for students in kindergarten through adult, with instructions and materials provided. Projects are very open-ended. Students may take home most of their MAKER projects.

*NEW* Each topic has two sessions. PRIMARY introduces the topic and REVISITED allows for follow-up activities and additional exploration and skill-building. Students can participate in either session or both for any topic.

Both SESSION registration and CONTACT registration are necessary to ensure ample materials, personal accommodations, and notification of class changes.

Unless noted, classes are held at New Disciples at 610 32nd Avenue SW Suite C in Cedar Rapids.

Cost: Each session is $15 for one student and $10 for each additional sibiling.
