Blurb Elena Michaels is the only known female werewolf. And she's tired of it. Tired of a life spent hiding and protecting, a life where he most important job is hunting down the rogue werewolves. Tired of a world that not only accepts the worst in her-her temper, her violence-but requires it. Worst of all, she realizes she's growing content with that life, with being that person. So she left her Pack and returned to Toronto where she's trying to live as a human. When the Pack leader calls asking for her help fighting a sudden uprising, she only agrees because she owes him. Once this is over, she'll be squared with the Pack and free to live life as a human. Which is what she wants. Really.

Comments: Bitten is an amazing book! It gives us an insight of the supernatural world for werewolves and the characters are unforgettable. I usually never like main characters, let alone female characters. I find female characters need a male character to defend them the whole book and then in last hundred pages they prove themselves. Elena proves herself right at the beginning. Sure she runs away from things, but everyone has their faults or else they would be a horrible character. She holds her ground in a fight and she's trusted to hold her ground. I love it!
The book hit off with a bang and even though there aren't too many perks to being a werewolf in my opinion, the pack seemed to be so close and they seemed to have so much fun together. I love the bond between the werewolves.
The story was fun and always upbeat and excited. There was never a dull moment throughout the book. A warning on this book though, it is in the adult section so know your limits. It may get intimate at times but never enough that it was crazy. Honestly, you know when the scenes are coming and you can just skip over them if you want, you wouldn't be missing much, not in this book anyways. It's a judgment call so I leave that up to you to make.
Amazing book and a definite read!
