Be prepared to write about what you learned from listening to the podcast in class next week.
2. Make a Key to use in seminar next week

3. Site Visit Observation Reflection #5:
- class objective (SWBAT, standard)
- Activity -What is the teacher doing? What are the students doing? What questions is the teacher asking? What questions are the students asking? What is the hook? Describe the direct instruction, guided practice and independent practice. How did the teacher check for understanding?
In addition…
- Use the this rubric (discreetly) to consider how your mentor teacher set high standards for behavior. Support your claims with information from this week's lecture and examples from your observations. Integrate the language from the rubric.
- If your mentor teacher doesn’t use any of the strategies, what is he/she doing to manage behavior? How might the strategies from this week's lecture affect how the class runs?
Due: week 7 via google class. Remember to also upload your reflection to the Calteach google form
