Listen to this episode of This American Life called Is This Working (Discipline policies in schools from October 2014).
Be prepared to write about what you learned from listening to the podcast in class next week.

3. Site Visit Observation Reflection #5: Briefly describe the class objective (SWBAT, CC standard and Math Practice Standard), activity and teaching method for each different class (Summarize your notes from the observation form). In addition, how does your mentor teacher set high standards for behavior? Support your claims with information from this week's lecture and examples from your observations. If your mentor teacher doesn’t use any of the strategies, what is he/she doing to manage behavior? How might the strategies from this week's lecture affect how the class runs? Due: end of week 7
