Reddit Later Beta 8

Bugfixes:

• No longer crashes when scheduled downloads start and the app isn't in memory

  • ‘Lag’ time experienced when a scheduled download run kicked in whilst browsing has been eliminated.

  • Running downloads no longer impact the UI.

  • The same comments no longer get downloaded more than once

  • U.I scaling for smaller screens has been improved

Features:

• Dark / Light Theme support - without restarting the app (you'd be surprised how much harder this makes things!)

• Added options to sort posts by download date, in addition to posted date

• Updated Android support libraries and gif viewer library

• A hamburger menu for selecting which subreddit to browse (and also highlights how many unread posts there are)

• A ‘view’ which includes images, enabling you to scroll posts without having to ‘click into’ each one.

• News articles are downloaded and cached locally - these are presented as a self-contained, semi-interactive webpage - clicking links will prompt to open whichever web browser you use.

• As many comments as possible are downloaded, instead of the top 200.

• Scheduled download retrieves updated unread post scores, new comments and update comment scores.

Please uninstall your existing version before migrating to this one.

I've added some new fields to the database, which causes incompatibility with existing data. Sorry about that!
